•Medical history, in case you are on medication for any illness or systemic
condition.
•Allergy History- to latex, medication, anaesthesia,etc.
•X-rays- If you have taken them within the last 6 months.
•If you are suffering from tooth pain, avoid taking any medication before visiting
your dentist. (as it masks the symptoms).
Twice a year i.e., every 6 months for regular check-ups If you have a toothache, if your gums are sore & bleeding, if your teeth are sensitive or even if you have any other dental problem, you are advised to visit the dentist immediately
•The teeth are held firmly in place by the gums and the bone around
them. The tartar/calculus (food debris and bacteria) gathered around
the teeth, between the gum & tooth surface causes infection of the
gums and bone.
•These deposits, over a period of time, push down the bone and gum
creating gaps between teeth. This tartar, if not removed periodically
(once in every 6 months) can cause loosening of teeth.
